Kuala Nerus, 25 June 2025 – The Terengganu State Department of Trade Union Affairs (JHEKS) successfully organized the 2025 e-TUIS Enhancement Workshop at the Central Lecture Complex, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. The workshop brought together 20 trade unions from the states of Terengganu and Kelantan.
The opening ceremony was officiated by Mr. Rosli bin Zakaria, Director of Trade Union Affairs for Terengganu and Kelantan. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of fully and optimally utilizing the e-TUIS system in line with the current era of digitalization. He also encouraged trade union officers to actively assist their respective unions in submitting applications and managing processes through the system.
The workshop was led by experienced speakers and facilitators from JHEKS Headquarters. The primary objective was to enhance participants’ understanding and technical skills in using e-TUIS — the central digital platform for managing trade union data and operations across Malaysia.
This initiative reflects JHEKS’s ongoing commitment to strengthening trade union capabilities through digital transformation, supporting the government’s vision for a more efficient, innovative, and future-ready public service delivery system.
