MELAKA, 17 April 2025 – The Department of Trade Union Affairs (JHEKS) has successfully organised the 2025 e-TUIS System Strengthening Workshop involving trade union representatives from the States of Melaka and Negeri Sembilan. This one-day workshop was held at the Computer Training Room, Accountant General of Malaysia Department, Melaka.
A total of 23 participants representing various trade unions from both states participated in this workshop which aimed to strengthen understanding and skills in the use of the Electronic Trade Union Information System (e-TUIS).
The workshop was also assisted by four representatives from the system provider, who acted as assistant facilitators and technical speakers, led by Ms. Azrin binti Zulkeply. They provided guidance and in-depth explanations on the latest features and functions of the e-TUIS system.
This initiative is one of JHEKS’s ongoing efforts in supporting the digital transformation of trade union management while also improving the efficiency and capabilities of system users among union representatives at the state level.
Through this workshop, JHEKS is committed to ensuring that the e-TUIS system is used optimally to achieve more efficient, transparent and effective union governance in line with the current requirements of digital public services.
