Tanjung Rambutan, Perak – The Department of Trade Union Affairs (JHEKS) Perak, in collaboration with JHEKS Headquarters, successfully organised the 2025 e-TUIS Enhancement Workshop at the Sultan Azlan Shah Ministry of Health Training Institute (ILKKM SAS).
The workshop brought together 22 trade unions from across the state of Perak, serving as a strategic platform to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of digital governance in trade union administration through the Electronic Trade Union Information System (e-TUIS).
The programme was organized by Ms. Joanna Inbarani A/P Thawamany, Director of JHEKS Perak, and supported by a team of experienced speakers and facilitators from JHEKS Headquarters who provided hands-on guidance and technical insights to all participants.
The key objectives of the workshop were to:
i) Improve user understanding and skills in operating the e-TUIS system effectively and efficiently.
ii) Identify and address technical issues faced by system users at the implementation level.
iii) Provide exposure to new features and system improvements to enhance the functionality and ease of access of e-TUIS.
iv) Strengthen cooperation between implementing parties and users in ensuring that trade union-related matters can be carried out more systematically and smoothly.

This initiative reflects JHEKS Perak’s continued commitment to supporting the Government’s public service digitalisation agenda, particularly in improving the efficiency and transparency of trade union governance nationwide.
