The Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA) through the Department of Union Affairs (JHEKS) continues to be committed to empowering the voices of workers and trade unions through the Trade Union Affairs Program (PHEKS) 2025 with the highest allocation in history – RM10 million!
A total of RM7.15 million was distributed to trade unions nationwide, including RM479,089 for the Sarawak Zone and RM2.85 million allocated for Outreach and CSR Programs.
A total of 1,049 applications were received and 551 applications were approved, covering various clusters such as training, research, academic writing and the purchase of computer hardware.
The Sarawak Level PHEKS 2025 Handover Ceremony was officiated by YB Dato’ Sri Abdul Rahman Bin Haji Mohamad, Deputy Minister of Human Resources at the Imperial Hotel Kuching.
