BOTA KANAN, PERAK, 22 October 2023 – The Perak Department of Trade Union Affairs (JHEKS) in collaboration with trade unions in the state of Perak has held a corporate social responsibility (CSR) program at the Tuntung Wildlife Conservation Center, Bota Kanan, Perak.
A total of approximately 150 participants attended to make this program a success representing:
- Malaysian Trade Union Congress (MTUC) Perak
- Congress of Unions of Workers in the Public Service (CUEPACS)
- Union of Employees in Clerical and Allied Government Services (AUEGCAS) Perak
- Peninsular Malaysia National Managerial Service Union (NUTP)
- Perak State Workers Union
- Tanjung Malim Proton Workers’ Union
- Perak Water Board Employees’ Union
- Sultan Azlan Shah University Academic Staff Union
- Union of General Officers of Sultan Idris University of Education
Various multi-party cooperation activities were held at the conservation center such as cooperative painting of stores, planting trees, cleaning the tuntung pond, the area around the conservation center, and the tuntung release area, as well as releasing tuntung cubs on the banks of the Perak River.
JHEKS Perak would also like to thank all parties who participated in making the program a success.
