KUALA LUMPUR, 5 September 2023 – An engagement session with industry players regarding the proposed amendment to the Trade Union Act 1959 (Act 262) of the Central Zone (Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya) was held at Menara MITI here today.
A total of 23 participants representing 16 employers and employers’ associations attended the engagement session organized by the Department of Trade Union Affairs (JHEKS).
The Trade Union Act 1959 (Act 262) is in the process of bringing forward proposed amendments to the Trade Union Act 1959 (Act 262) and also involving industry players to provide explanations on the matter.
This engaging session was officiated by Puan Zuraini binti Abu Kassim, Senior Director, Legal and Enforcement Division of the Department of Trade Union Affairs.
