PAHANG, 8 May 2025 – As part of its ongoing digital transformation efforts, the Department of Trade Union Affairs (JHEKS) organised the 2025 e-TUIS System Enhancement Workshop for trade unions in Pahang, held at the Computer Training Room, BCIC Lodge, Bandar Indera Mahkota.
The workshop gathered 12 representatives from various trade unions across Pahang, aimed at strengthening their understanding and practical use of the Electronic Trade Union Information System (e-TUIS).
Key topics discussed during the session included:
i. Registration of changes in trade union office-bearers.
ii. Submission of notices for changes in union officers/positions.
iii. Financial statement submission.
iv. Annual union reporting.
v. Amendments to the union’s registered name.
vi. Updates to the union’s registered address.
vii. Amendments to union rules and regulations.
viii. Certification for unrecorded leave for union duties.
This initiative reflects JHEKS’s commitment to empowering trade unions with the digital tools needed to manage administrative matters more efficiently, transparently, and in alignment with national public sector digitalisation goals.
The workshop also served as a vital platform to ensure that union representatives are well-equipped to use the e-TUIS system effectively, thereby supporting good governance and compliance within the trade union movement.
