PUSPANITA Sub-Branch of the Department of Trade Union Affairs (JHEKS) held a Children’s Caring Program at Melur Ward, Parit Buntar Hospital, Perak. This program was led by the Chairman of PUSPANITA Sub-Branch of JHEKS, Puan Raja Rosni binti Raja Kassim, as one of the efforts to instill the values of love, caring, and social concern towards the community, especially children who are receiving treatment.
In this program, PUSPANITA JHEKS Sub-Branch has donated books from the Negeri Sembilan Public Library Corporation and donated necessities from PUSPANITA itself. It is hoped that this donation will bring joy and enthusiasm to the children in the ward, as well as fostering their interest in reading and increasing their knowledge even while in the hospital.
The positive impact of this program is clearly felt, not only by the children who were celebrated but also by the hospital staff and PUSPANITA members themselves. It strengthens the bonds of friendship between government agencies, health institutions, and the local community. In addition, it serves as a platform to spread the values of humanity and empathy among the community.
PUSPANITA JHEKS Small Branch hopes that programs like this can be continued and expanded in the future with the involvement of more parties. It is also hoped that such efforts will inspire all parties to continue to contribute to the well-being of society, in line with the spirit of caring and social responsibility.
