The working visit aims to provide comprehensive exposure to the ministry&#8217;s new leadership to the role, functions as well as operational priorities of each department in supporting the labour reform agenda and protection of the country&#8217;s workers.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Throughout the visit, the Honourable Minister and the Honourable Deputy Minister received an introduction briefing from the top management of each department covering the strategic direction, current achievements, policy implementation challenges as well as planning for the improvement of the service delivery system to the people. The main focus of the visit was strengthening the coordination of ministry policies and implementation at the departmental level, particularly in the aspects of corporate relations, occupational safety and health as well as the development of a progressive and responsible labor union.
